Please join us in welcoming Veronica Vichit-Vadakan, the new Systems Librarian at the OCOM Library! Veronica works Sunday – Tuesday so please stop by and say “hi” to her. 

Bio: Veronica grew up in California and Hawaii, but has called Portland home for the last 17 years. She graduated from Reed College with a BA in History and just last year received her Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Washington. For the 10 years between those two degrees, she worked in the film and television industry working in post-production on everything from commercials to feature films, most recently working at Laika, a local animation company. She is an eager and frequent traveler and often visits her far-flung family situated all around the globe. In her spare time, she watches movies, tends an ever-expanding vegetable garden, semi-successfully completes New York Times crossword puzzles and cooks like a fiend every chance she gets.
